Decided to bring this trip forward during the summer, which is a great time to visit, it was so cold when we first visited Dublin over 7 years ago
We had such a fabulous time in Dublin with the West Norwood and South London meetup group, way before even thinking about setting Get A Social Life. Dublin has history, charm, sights, museums, galleries, theatres, shops, pubs, restaurants and an abundance of character. Dublin was voted Europe's fourth most popular city break destination, behind London, Paris and Rome and is one of the friendliest capital cities in the world.
Dublin's elegant Georgian architecture makes it one of Europe's most attractive capitals. Dublin is a relatively small and accessible city, small enough and safe enough to get around on foot, while the Luas tram system and the suburban rail system, the DART, provide excellent transport links throughout the city.

Day 1
Date : 09 Jul 2023
We depart from Gatwick Airport
on arrival we are transferred to our hotel, after checking in, we will then enjoy and explore this beautiful city. We may decided to visit the Guinness Storehouse, with more than a million people a year visiting the home of Guinness.
Day 2
Date : 10 Jul 2023
We explore Ireland’s scenic landscapes
After breakfast we explore Ireland’s scenic landscapes on a trip visiting the breath taking Cliffs of Moher
Enjoy a stop to explore the lunar landscapes of The Burren
Explore the city of Galway and enjoy the vibrant side of it
Walk through the ruins of Kilmacduagh Monastery
Drive along the Wild Atlantic way
Day 3
Date : 11 Jul 2023
Visit the Giant's Causeway
Visit the Giant's Causeway and admire the formation and beauty of the area
Enjoy photo stop at the most beautiful castle ruin in Ireland, Dunluce Castle
Travel down the romantic avenue of beech trees at Dark Hedges
Learn stories of folklore and history with a few myths and legends
We will spend at least 2 hours at the stunning Giants Causeway
Explore Belfast City for 1.5 hours
Day 4

Our weekend trip comes to an end
Our weekend trip comes to an end, yet we have a late flight so can catch up on some more sightseeing in the city, as mentioned in Day 1
Once we have checked out we can store our luggage safely in the hotel's storage room.

Yes, of cause you can, although most of our customers attend events alone, feel free to bring your friends, partner and family members, the more the merrier is our motto.
All travellers must have travel insurance when travelling with Get A Social Life, without one you will not be able to travel with us.
Also for walks and hike it is important to have some sort of insurance as we will not be held liable for any accidents or loss of belongings
Our age group ranges from 20's to 70's. Age is just a number so don’t worry, as long as you are reasonably fit and healthy to travel and attend any of our hiking or walks events. For dinners and theatre events this won’t be a problem.
However well behaved children from 9 years old can attend with their parent/s
We have several travellers travelling alone, some are happy to share a room with twin beds and others have their own room which is priced accordingly as single supplement. It can be quite overwhelming on your first time, but everyone is super friendly and welcoming so you will feel at ease very quickly. All scheduled activities are attended together so a great opportunity to share experiences and have a great day out. Many have developed long term friendships as a result of attending our social activities.
No, you can join our trips from anywhere in the world, including regional airports in the UK.

For coach trips Please note on our return back to London if you are late, you need to phone me. The coach will wait 15 minutes and then leave. If you miss your connection it is your responsibility to get home and pay for any additional travelling fees.

All of our social events are Non refundable unless cancelled or rescheduled.

If joining us for a meal please note unless stated otherwise service charge will be charged after your meal.

Unless stated our coach trips are not guided, I am a host who facilitates coach trips, so you are free to enjoy the day with new friends, one most of the coach trips you will find links on what to do at each of the locations we will be visiting.
PHOTOS
Please note if your not one for taking photos please do not join when we are taking group photos as i will post on the meetup page and social media. One of the reasons why you may have joined this group is because you actually see members having fun and not just photos of images of landmarks. It's real when you see people in photos.
