Join me for a day trip to Bournemouth and the Jurassic Coast, where you can socialise, explore, and have fun. Whether you come alone or with friends, 95% of our members attend solo, and the group is always friendly. Many attendees have become great friends through our trips. Everyone is welcome — men and women alike.
Enjoy fresh air, golden sandy beaches, scenic walks, and optional adventurous activities like zip-lining or hiking to Durdle Door along Lulworth Cove.

Bournemouth is a vibrant coastal resort town in Dorset, famous for its stunning beaches and over 25% more sunshine than the UK average. The town offers award-winning restaurants, great entertainment, superb shopping, riverside gardens, and a lively seafront — all easily explored on foot.
About Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door

The Lulworth Estate is part of the UNESCO-listed Jurassic Coast, rich in wildlife and natural beauty.

From Lulworth Cove, it’s a 1.3-mile walk (approx. 35 minutes) to Durdle Door — a must-visit landmark for photography, rock-pooling, walking, coasteering, and nature appreciation.

You can stay around Lulworth Cove if you prefer, where there’s plenty to see and do.
Tips for the trip:

Wear sensible footwear; paths can be uneven.

Coastal weather is unpredictable — pack layers.

The Durdle Door path is hilly but manageable at a leisurely pace.

Itinerary

8:00 am – Depart London promptly (arrive 15 minutes early).

10:30 am – Arrive in Weymouth. Explore, have lunch, relax on the beach, and enjoy a coastal walk. Pack swimwear if you like.

1:30 pm – Depart Weymouth promptly.

2:15 pm – Arrive at Lulworth Cove. Join the walk to Durdle Door (approx. 35 minutes uphill with photo stops) or explore Lulworth Cove independently.

5:00 pm – Coach departs back to London.

8:00 pm – Approximate arrival back in London.
Meeting Point

Location: Coach bays on Tothill St, 2 minutes walk from St James Park tube station.

Landmarks: Coach parked near Pret A Manger and Costa Coffee.
Food
Bring snacks or sandwiches for the journey. On arrival, there will be plenty of eateries.
