After an amazing trip to Lapland earlier in 2020 we travel to Norway for a glimpse of the Northern Lights in Tromso, our trip provides an opportunity to chase and witness the breathtaking Aurora Borealis on the Northern Lights tour, with professional photographs included. Husky dog sledding was an amazing experience in Lapland and Whale watching has been on my bucket list for a while. Make sure you bring your long johns as it's going to be super cold.

Day 1
Date : 25 Nov 2023
Depart Heathrow exact time and name of hotel will be provided once full payment is received
On arrival in Tromso, we are transferred to our hotel.
Later we chase the Northern Lights in the evening we will travel through the outer islands of Tromso. Includes Snacks, Campfire, Photos (2 portraits and 1 landscape per reservation) , We may go towards the Finnish and Swedish borders to find the right conditions for the lights, so don't forget your passport!
We will sit by a bonfire and enjoy the Arctic beauty while roasting marshmallows. Our guide will share the facts, stories, traditions, beliefs, and superstitions about the lights as you warm by the fire.
When the Aurora Borealis does appear, our guide will take professional pictures and share them with us for free.
If needed includes Warm thermal suits, Winter boots, One Aurora portrait (with an option for more pictures) Hot chocolate, Snacks and Tripod

The perfect season for Whale Watching and Arctic Wildlife Cruise Safari Set sail on a hybrid electric catamaran cruise for the Arctic waters and observe marine animals in their natural habitat. Watch orcas and humpback whales feed in the icy fjords and admire the stunning landscapes around you. Additional Fee £130

RIB Speed Boat Whale and Bird Watching Tour in Skjervøy For me personally this the perfect way to whale watch close up. Search for whales on a 34ft open RIB speedboat tour. Look for humpback whales in their natural habitat, and enjoy traditional hot chocolate and a snack during the ride.

Yes, of cause you can, although most of our customers attend events alone, feel free to bring your friends, partner and family members, the more the merrier is our motto.
All travellers must have travel insurance when travelling with Get A Social Life, without one you will not be able to travel with us.
Also for walks and hike it is important to have some sort of insurance as we will not be held liable for any accidents or loss of belongings
Our age group ranges from 20's to 70's. Age is just a number so don’t worry, as long as you are reasonably fit and healthy to travel and attend any of our hiking or walks events. For dinners and theatre events this won’t be a problem.
However well behaved children from 9 years old can attend with their parent/s
We have several travellers travelling alone, some are happy to share a room with twin beds and others have their own room which is priced accordingly as single supplement. It can be quite overwhelming on your first time, but everyone is super friendly and welcoming so you will feel at ease very quickly. All scheduled activities are attended together so a great opportunity to share experiences and have a great day out. Many have developed long term friendships as a result of attending our social activities.
No, you can join our trips from anywhere in the world, including regional airports in the UK.

For coach trips Please note on our return back to London if you are late, you need to phone me. The coach will wait 15 minutes and then leave. If you miss your connection it is your responsibility to get home and pay for any additional travelling fees.

Unless stated our coach trips are not guided, I am a host who facilitates coach trips, so you are free to enjoy the day with new friends, one most of the coach trips you will find links on what to do at each of the locations we will be visiting.
PHOTOS
Please note if your not one for taking photos please do not join when we are taking group photos as i will post on the meetup page and social media. One of the reasons why you may have joined this group is because you actually see members having fun and not just photos of images of landmarks. It's real when you see people in photos.
