What’s Happening

We’re heading to the beautiful Kent coast as we escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

First stop: the vibrant Deal Food & Drink Festival, set along the promenade beside the historic Deal Castle. Now in its 9th year, this seaside celebration is bursting with flavours, music, entertainment, and community vibes.

Then we’ll head to Folkestone, a laid-back port town with Victorian charm, beach views, piers, and indie villages. Whether you come solo or with a friend, this trip is about fun, freedom, and connection. And yes – men are absolutely welcome!

Deal Food & Drink Festival Highlights

Street food court with BBQ meats, wraps, German sausages, Greek, Chinese, Thainese (yes, guess!), and more
Sweet treats like crepes, churros, ice cream, dunk cookies & artisan fudge
Refreshing craft beers, cocktails, ciders, and flavoured vodkas
Grocery & artisan stalls: cheeses, biltong, spiced rums, and handmade crafts
Live music, kids’ entertainment, stand-up comedy, face painting, and a party-like atmosphere!

Folkestone – Explore & Unwind

Take in coastal views, relax by the beach, or explore quirky shops and Victorian architecture. Wander at your own pace and soak up the seaside breeze.
