It's a bank holiday weekend again as it's Kings Charles Coronation
Lake Garda is a 17th century complex in northern Italy, which is known for its crystal clear water on the south end, with up to 25°C in September, the town of Simeone is dominated by the Rocca Scaligera, a fortress with harbor views. The nearby Grotte di Catullo archaeological site includes a Roman villa. On the lake's western shore, in Gardone Riviera, is Il Vittoriale degli Italiani, former home of poet d’Annunzio. The Dolomites frame Riva del Garda, a resort in the north.
A classy upmarket destination, surrounded by hundreds of villages and towns. Lake Garda is clean and cool enough to take a dip in the waters, great for sailing along the lake, hiking or for cycling around while taking in the delightful and gorgeous province

Day 1

We leave Gatwick for Lake Garda in the early hours
Once we have checked into our hotel we can enjoy and explore our new surroundings, later take a ferry to Simeone, which is another beautiful town.
Day 2
Date : 06 May 2023
Day Trip to Venice and spend the day exploring this beautiful city
After breakfast we will head out and catch a train for a Day Trip to Venice and spend the day exploring this beautiful city, an opportunity to experience a gondola ride along the canal. One of the world’s most romantic cities in the world, when we arrive we then hop on a boat to the heart of the city into St Mark's Square. Enjoy the Byzantine and Gothic monuments of the Venetian Empire.
Stroll through the historical streets of Venice and walk amongst the famous buildings
Day 3

Catching a train to Milan where we will stay for 2 nights
After breakfast we check out of our hotel, leave our luggage in storage and explore the area further before catching a train to Milan where we will stay for 2 nights
Let's make the most of Milan and discover the secrets of an Italian city that combines the best of history, fashion and architecture on this English-language guided 3 hours walking tour, starting at 3 pm.
The free walking tour guides work exclusively for tips from visitors. At the end of our tour, feel free to pay our guide based on your level of satisfaction.

Spend the day on a scenic coach trip to Lake Como and St. Moritz
After breakfast join me as we escape the hustle and bustle of Milan and spend the day on a scenic coach trip to Lake Como and St. Moritz. Board the Bernina Red Train to experience one of the world's most beautiful rail routes.
Enjoy a cruise by private boat on the calm waters of Lake Como
Enjoy views of lake villages and villas: Bellagio, Varenna, Villa Balbianello
Relax on a bus journey along the Maloja route as it winds its way to St. Moritz
Free time to explore the glamourous resort of St. Moritz
Ride aboard the famous Bernina Red Train Express and travel across the Swiss Alps

Free Time to enjoy the day before going back home arriving at Stanstead Airport from Milan at 0.30 am. National Express is £11 to London Victoria bus station from Stanstead Airport

Yes, of cause you can, although most of our customers attend events alone, feel free to bring your friends, partner and family members, the more the merrier is our motto.
All travellers must have travel insurance when travelling with Get A Social Life, without one you will not be able to travel with us.
Also for walks and hike it is important to have some sort of insurance as we will not be held liable for any accidents or loss of belongings
Our age group ranges from 20's to 70's. Age is just a number so don’t worry, as long as you are reasonably fit and healthy to travel and attend any of our hiking or walks events. For dinners and theatre events this won’t be a problem.
However well behaved children from 9 years old can attend with their parent/s
We have several travellers travelling alone, some are happy to share a room with twin beds and others have their own room which is priced accordingly as single supplement. It can be quite overwhelming on your first time, but everyone is super friendly and welcoming so you will feel at ease very quickly. All scheduled activities are attended together so a great opportunity to share experiences and have a great day out. Many have developed long term friendships as a result of attending our social activities.
No, you can join our trips from anywhere in the world, including regional airports in the UK.

For coach trips Please note on our return back to London if you are late, you need to phone me. The coach will wait 15 minutes and then leave. If you miss your connection it is your responsibility to get home and pay for any additional travelling fees.

Unless stated our coach trips are not guided, I am a host who facilitates coach trips, so you are free to enjoy the day with new friends, one most of the coach trips you will find links on what to do at each of the locations we will be visiting.
PHOTOS
Please note if your not one for taking photos please do not join when we are taking group photos as i will post on the meetup page and social media. One of the reasons why you may have joined this group is because you actually see members having fun and not just photos of images of landmarks. It's real when you see people in photos.
